In-service Programming

A variety of movement and mindfulness techniques for your staff. By promoting well-being at work, schools and companies can contribute to individual and collective productivity.  In just one hour, your staff can learn a number of different modalities to help increase job satisfaction and morale among employees. In addition, these practices help to harmonize employee relations and redefine managerial leadership. Simple yoga and mindfulness techniques, done at a wall or in a chair, help increase energy and reduce fatigue and stress. Help your staff improve concentration and focus,  increase positivity and morale.

Mindfulness

The goal of mindfulness is finding the practice that works for you. The practice of being aware of your body, mind, and feelings in the present moment, to create a feeling of calm. There are many paths into mindfulness, using your breath, movement, one pointed concentration, gardening, chanting even just being present while washing dishes! The goal into mindfulness is finding the practice that works for you.

Kundalini

A unique and distinctive form of yoga.  It includes pranayama (breath techniques and awareness), movements and poses (asana) and mantra, (powerful sound vibrations).

Kundalini works to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system and harness the energy of our mind and emotions so we can be in control of ourselves (and not controlled by our thoughts and feelings!) In short, this yoga uses both body (movement and breath) and mind (mantra and meditation) to stretch you inside and out. The breath massages your inner organs and energizes the glandular system, the movement stretches your body, energizes the nerves and massages the entire nervous system.

Pranayama

Your life is in your breath! An extension of self energizing life forces.  Breathing helps purify the blood and the respiratory system. Deeper breathing enriches the blood with oxygen and moves it to the brain, lungs, heart, and capillaries. As we release Carbon Dioxide and filter oxygen we increase all of our capacities in life.

Pranayama includes three stages: purak (to inhale), kumbhak (to hold the breath) and rechak (to exhale). The combination of these three is termed as pranayama, a way of life. Come learn the many, many ways you can use your breath to change your life!

Chair Yoga

A gentle form of yoga, done seated or standing with a chair. As with most yoga practices, this modality offers improved flexibility , better concentration and increased strength. It reduces joint strain and can be done anywhere. Don't be fooled, you can get an amazing practice in a chair!

As well as advanced yoga asanas, this practice can be done in the office, on a plane, anywhere you can grab a chair and have a bit of space to stretch,  both your mind and body!

Coaching/Counseling/Mentoring

Join me in helping  you change your life by changing the way you operate on a deeper level. Rather than just examining your behaviors, habits, and goals, we will delve into your deep rooted beliefs and your feeling of connection to the world around you. We will work both to disconnect from past trauma, break through barriers and obstacles, and set goals that help you to live a healthy, productive and joyful life.

Energy Psychology (EP)

A mind-body approach for understanding and improving human functioning. EP focuses on the relationship between thoughts, emotions, sensations, and behaviors, and known bioenergy systems (such as meridians). We will work with, sound, tapping, reiki, AIT (advanced integrative therapy) and other forms of energy movement. This work is used to treat behaviors caused by past trauma, perceived trauma and what may appear to be energetic blockages.
