I grew up completely intimidated by my wildly creative family and made a decision not to go to art school thinking I couldn’t aspire to their otherworldly imagination and productivity!! Mama was a writer extraordinaire and would trade her work for fantastical Goodies! (Dogs, televisions, lobsters etc. ). She painted and did photography on the side as well as teach English. She was a publicist for the NJ State Museum for many years and Editor for the NJ Historical Commission. Papa was an interior designer and blew us all away with his trash to treasure creations….and of course painted his entire life!
Grandma Edna “The Socialite” started an art school in Positano on the Amalfi Coast in the 1950’s! She worked on the Spoleto Festivals and introduced many people to the small Fishermans Village which later became known around the world. So needless to say my life was filled with art openings, art events and the numerous creatives that meandered in and out throughout my formative years.
I started dabbling with art at a very young age, taking a classes here and there. Actually I just think it is in my DNA and now I just can’t stop! Everyday I welcome divine creativity into my life. All my art comes with positive intentions, behind, underneath and on the back! When I retired in 2014 from a 30 year career as a High School Counselor, life took on a whole new meaning. Teaching yoga and meditation, life coaching and now here I am playing out all my artistic fantasies!
Creative Arts
As you might imagine, I am drawn to merging my love of all things energetic, yogic and spiritual into my creative arts. When at work I allow my belief in the neuroscience of positivity to guide me and often actually imbue my work with these deeply felt positive intentions, both seen and unseen.
Each piece I offer delivers to you these divine wishes, hopes and dreams.
